Terms & Conditions

Last updated July 27, 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Terrafield platform (the “Service”), operated by Sean Gallop (“we”, “us”, “Terrafield”). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.

1. The Service

Terrafield provides tools for environmental contractors and remediation firms to look up EPA screening levels, log waste manifests and weight tickets, store supporting documents, and generate compliance reports. Terrafield is a record-keeping and reporting tool. It does not constitute legal, engineering, or regulatory advice, and you remain responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for your own compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.

3. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

4. Licence and intellectual property

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan you have selected. Sean Gallop retains all ownership of the Service, its software, documentation, and branding. You retain ownership of the manifests, documents, and project data you upload, and you grant us a limited license to host and process that content solely to provide the Service.

5. Payment, subscriptions, and taxes

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Billing, renewals, cancellations, taxes, and refunds are handled under Paddle’s Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval shown at checkout until cancelled. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. One-time report credits are consumed as reports are generated and do not expire while your account is active.

6. Service level

We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Screening levels and regulatory thresholds shown in the app are provided for reference; always confirm against the current official source before relying on them.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. You may close your account at any time. On termination you may export your data for 30 days, after which it may be deleted.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where that exclusion is not permitted. You will indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these terms.

9. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, and disputes will be heard in its courts. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.
